ABOUT US

In the heart of Pirin, where winter winds paint white masterpieces, a legend is born. An Alpine chef, with a creative soul and a mountaineer's heart, fell in love with the magic of Bansko. Determined to share his passion for the mountains and Italian cuisine, he created a unique place where the aromas of pine forests intertwine with the scents of basil and rosemary. Thus, "Alpen Italian Restaurant" was born - an ode to nature and culinary art.

“Chef by profession and culinary traveler by vocation.” Simple words from an extraordinary chef. Chef Georgi Ermenkov specialized in France with Philip Hardy at the two Michelin stars Mascaret restaurant. He also went through the school of the chef of the French Embassy Carlos Marsal and worked at some of the best restaurants in Bulgaria.
